When Jeremy founded Collectiv Food in 2018, he had a vision to revolutionise the food wholesale industry with greater transparency, fairness, and sustainability. Collectiv Food has since been purposefully built, uniting a team of passionate individuals committed to leaving a positive impact on our planet, cities, and communities.
Joining the B Corp Community is confirmation of what we've been working hard to do — using business as a force for good.
Our certification journey
Being a certified B Corp means a for-profit company is meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. But with less than 30% of companies achieving certification in the first attempt, we knew we had to give it our all from the outset.
If you were following our B Corp Diaries on LinkedIn, you'll know that a key aspect of initiating the B Corp assessment is getting your hands on good data about your team and operations. The effort, though time-consuming, offers profound insights to establish monitoring and management of your social and environmental performance acrosss your business. The BIA quickly became a powerful framework for us to take strides in our sustainability journey, everything from supporting progress in monitoring and reducing our environmental impact to driving significant policy developments.

Achieving B Corp certification is no doubt a team effort.
